The sun sparkles over the roofs of the city. It is quiet and hot. Happiness. Braina captured by Erik Tranberg for C-Heads. ”Braina is from Puerto Rico and I loved the beauty and soul she brings to her work. A friend of mine told me of this rooftop on an abandoned building in downtown Los Angeles. We saw a couple go inside the building while we were shooting. Braina and I both had the same adventurous spirit to check it out. Once we were inside it seemed the perfect location to shoot in the City of Broken Dreams.”

No one is watching. Just me and the birds. It smells like moss and leaves.

Photographer Adolfo Valente and Model Nicole did already an indoors shoot together some time ago and decided to repeat that, but this time somewhere in the forest to create this gorgeous story exclusive for C-Heads. “What I had in mind was to shoot very simple pictures, as I usually do, where the model would fit the environment, like she use to live in those woods. I wanted to give to the observer the idea of absolute freedom, without any bias. I wanted to express the girl’s feelings about the joyful relation with nature, trees, animals. I wanted her to get into a symbiotic exchange with the woods, the light and its elements. Nicole was amazing. She understood my intentions perfectly, posing naturally, forgetting about me, as I asked her to do. I am very thankful to her for her trust and dedication, walking barefoot in the woods, laying on leaves, accepting to wear a dead bug on her skin, bearing the cold and the humidity without any complain. Thank you Nicole.” We love the haunted forest mood combined with the pure exposition of the model.

I wish I could turn back time to when things were just oh so perfect. When we were kids. At the playground. Untamed. And free.

Photographer Valeria Mitelman teamed up with stylist Valerie Oster and hair/make up artist Sarah Marx for a C-Heads Exclusive inspired by a lazy summer afternoon mood. The two Lithuanian girls Kornelija and Ieva at M4 Models were visiting Berlin for the Fashion Week and a few days before heading back home completed this lovely story.

Nature is where I feel most at home and most alive. Connected to my true nature and soul. It´s fuel for the soul.

Esteban Abdala Torres started a series of portraits of women in nature. “A combination between their beauty and their wilderness, a communication between her and me and the space we are.” The first part starring the 20 year old natural beauty María surrounded by beautiful mountains and stream water in Antioquia, El Santuario. All shot on with film with an old Pentax k-1000.

The Colors Of The Wind

“…From the soil of the earth, carnal and eager rose the alluring essence of summer that sultry afternoon. Rich and deep were the vibrant hues of the sky, blues and oranges coating the mooning sky. The warm sunlight glistening as it sparkled in her eye while embracing her golden skin. Wild and free was her nature, her essence raw, enticing, almost savage; together with the elements of the universe; painted the colors of the wind…” Captured by the always magical and uncanny lens of Los Angeles photographer Jai, exotic babe Noemi shows off her untamed wildfire in the mountains of California for C-Heads. “Shooting with Jai was a very natural and amazing experience; we have very similar styles and we had instant chemistry with the first click of the camera. The essence of the shoot was just being one with nature. Exploring and appreciating the earthly beauty of mother nature’s natural elements and portraying that raw emotion through the images was our goal. We hiked through the Malibu mountains only with his camera and a bag full of my random clothes from the messy closet in my car from my visit to LA from Santa Barbara that weekend. We discovered beautiful landscapes and Jai took out his camera and we started creating. It was beautiful, wild and fun, we kept joking throughout that I was Pocahontas and he was my John Smith only with longer hair and tattoos.”

Welcome the so talented photographer Cameron Hammond with his first amazing C-Heads Exclusive starring beautiful Lana Zakocela at Chic Management. “We arrived at Lana’s house with a camera and a bag of vintage clothes and no plan. Lana was visiting from New York and staying with a friend in an incredible mansion on the edge of Sydney Harbour. The owner of the home was kind enough to let us play in the yard and swimming pool.” All clothing provided by Queen Justine Vintage.
