Young Chicago based photographer Jingyu Lin teamed up with stylist Chaine Leyendecker and makeup and hair artist Marygene Rose to shot PhotoGenics gorgeous new face Juliette Ackerman in Los Angeles for us. Rendering a special touch with all over sporty, feminine shooting aesthetics, Jingyu´s images are capturing Juliette’s natural beauty with Marygene and Chaine’s flawless makeup and styling. “We wanted to give a huge thanks to UNIF who provided the majority of the wardrobe for the shoot.” Enjoy!

Beautiful black and white images and a short super 8 film video that capture the passion behind the moment, starring model Roger at NEXT all shot in Leo Carrillo beach in Malibu. ”My buddy David Braun and I were talking about making a video on super 8 for a few months now. I wanted it to be about surfing and those times when surf is all you care about. It’s inspired by living and surfing LA for the past 5 years. My inspiration came from the weather changes, in NYC we are just coming out of winter and it has been miserable. Ok, with so much of a good mood and charming smile the weekend can start, right? Model Lindsay @ Next, who lives in Miami, not only knows how to cast a spell over London based photographer Steve Read, who has already worked with her for his first C-Heads publication as well. “We managed to sneak in a shoot on Sunday with just the two of us and we ended up getting some amazing shots just in my living room. It goes to show that sometimes the most simple situations can create the most compelling images. I think the fun we had on the day really comes through in the pictures, it’s always nice to see models smile. Lindsay is such a great model and a shoot like this really is the result of an equal collaboration.” The white bra and red shorts are American Apparel, the black lingerie is Victoria’s Secret, everything else is model’s own/photographer’s own.

Bubble gums, golden sunlight and a colourful zebra pants. The talented Sydney based photographer Natalia Horinkova is back on C-Heads with a raw and cool Exclusive starring beautiful short-haired model Emily Green at IMG Australia. They already worked together for the first time about 3 years ago when she was fairly new in Australia. And so was Emily, who is originally from Perth. “The fact that for both of us Sydney was a ‘new home’ then might helped us, but we hang out for summer swims, morning coffees, afternoon smoothies, late night drinks, girls talks and occasionally for small photoshoots. And this shooting was just a perfect day, late afternoon when the sun has the warm feeling just before its sets down, all the white buildings transfer in to playful canvases with shadows dancing around. We met for a girl’s day out and ended up walking down to the Bondi beach.” Enjoy!

“The Julias: We decided to be hippies for one day”

Being a hippie usually means to live for the ones you love, worship the nature and taking care of the lives of humans and animals. And of course lots of more good stuff. Vienna based photographer Pamela Rußmann and actress Daniela Julia Zacherl decided to be somewhat like that for one day and headed over into the wild side of Vienna. “After the freezing cold of our shooting in that February night, we wanted to feel the sun on our skin and see some wild rambling green around us. Dirty feet and swinging skirts. This place we found in the national park Lobau, the water forest of Vienna. This is our journey, and so we decided to be hippies for one day…” We follow…
